TERMS OF SERVICE
Last Updated: July 16, 2026
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing, registering, or participating in any events, challenges, or training environments hosted on the M1SEC^CTF platform (the "Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use the Platform.
2. LEGAL USE & SCOPE OF TESTING
The Platform provides virtual environments and security challenges designed exclusively for educational, research, and legal cybersecurity skill-development purposes.
CRITICAL: Attacks, exploits, or testing actions must be confined strictly within the designated target containers, hosts, or virtual instances provisioned to your account. Launching external attacks, denial-of-service (DoS) attempts against the Platform infra, or scanning networks outside the explicit scope of authorized event targets is strictly prohibited and subject to immediate account termination and potential legal escalation.
3. USER REGISTRATION & SESSION SECURITY
You must register a player account using valid credentials. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your session keys, passwords, and API accesses. You agree to immediately notify platform administration of any unauthorized access to your account.
4. COMPETITION RULES & CONDUCT
When participating in team or individual events:
- Collaboration or sharing flags between separate competing teams/individuals is strictly forbidden.
- Sabotaging other participants' container instances, scoring logs, or connection feeds is prohibited.
- Brute-forcing the scoreboards or challenge description endpoints is disallowed.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Platform and all associated code, challenges, and files are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without any warranties of any kind. M-ONE CYBER SECURITY shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
